Katriona Jaspersen began her journey as a writer in 2012 with her first children's book, Brooklyn from Brooklyn, dreaming of the day it would be published. After transitioning to working from home, she finally had the time to make that dream a reality, with the help of her father (D.B. Martin), who illustrated the book.

In just a few months, Katriona published four more children’s books. These books, both authored and illustrated by her, took a fresh, unique approach compared to Brooklyn from Brooklyn.

A lifelong storyteller, Katriona’s creative journey took a new turn in the summer of 2023. After years of taking a break from reading, she rediscovered her passion for writing through the books she loved. One particular book sparked a fire that led her to pen her debut novel under the name K. Jaspersen. Within nine months, Ace of Palms came to life—written during quiet moments between toddler naps and late-night hours.

In addition to writing, Katriona is passionate about book cover design. She offers custom book covers tailored to each author's unique story, as well as affordable pre-made book cover designs for those looking for high-quality, eye-catching covers on a budget. She believes a great book cover should not only capture the essence of the story but also make a lasting impression on readers.

Her next book, More to Lily, an interconnected standalone, is set for release in 2025, following the success of her debut novel Ace of Palms.
